Description I first picked up the guitar in February of 1964. A pretty significant date in my life. It was three days after I saw The Beatles on the popular Ed Sullivan Show! All during the month of Feb, three weeks running, Ed had The Beatles on his show, Sunday night at 7:30 PM. That did it for me, I was hooked! There was no turning back!!
As a teacher I enthusiastically encourage people of all ages, all levels, to take a chance, grab that guitar and have some fun! It’s challenging, relaxing, stimulating and something that you can do for the rest of your life. No matter how young at heart you are when you start, playing an instrument, especially the guitar, can take you down so many fascinating roads. You never know what it will lead to! It’s so easy to get started. Just get your guitar and jump in! I have many tried and true short cuts and methods to help you on your way!
You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much fun you’ll have! Lessons are priced at $25.00 for a half hour and $40.00 for an hour. I prefer that you pay for the month in advance. If this isn’t possible we can definitely make other arrangements that will suit both of us. If you need to cancel please give a minimum of 24 hours notice of cancellation. Without notice, I have to charge for the lesson. This applies for “no shows” (not showing up or calling to cancel). Illnesses and emergencies don’t apply. Sorry, no refunds except in emergency cases.

I teach all styles, including: Blues, Jazz, Rock, Fusion and Funk. I can teach you Country and Country Rock as well. All I ask for is an open mind, a willingness to learn, some patience and a whole lotta practice! We’re in this together, but the real work is up to you. That’s where the real rewards come from! It’s truly amazing for me to see the growth and the excitement of my students as they develop their guitar skills. It really is a wonderful thing, not always without frustration...But anything worth going for and doing well can be tough at times. I’m always here for all my students to help you over the rough spots.
