Drummer needed for folk-rock band |
Description:
Description Looking for the right drummer. We're playing folk-rock (alt rock) with sometimes a country or Irish flair. Musicians include myself doing vocals and piano, a fiddle/violin player, bass, guitar and backup singer. Comparable bands might include Lou Reed, Nick Cave, the Walkabouts, Leonard Cohen and the Pogues. We've just released our second album and our first has done pretty well. Mp3's are on www.cdbaby.com or www.johnnyforlorn.com . We practice On Cap Hill in Seattle and are drug free. Ages range from mid-20's to mid-30's. Ideal drummer would be just as comfortable in 3/4 as in 4/4, know something about dynamics, and have their own kit and transportation.
