Ancora Presents: A Garden of Songs
June 9, 2007 - 7pm
Trinity Lutheran Church
1200 - 10th Avenue East, on Capitol Hill
We will be performing works by Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen, Eleanor Daly, Elizabeth Poston, Tchaikovsky, Zoltan Kodaly.
Ancora is a nonprofit educational organization composed of women singers who endeavor to improve and develop their vocal talents and music education; continue their commitment to musical excellence learned from Dr. Jerome Wright at the Seattle Girls’ Choir; build friendships and support among singers; perform outstanding choral music through a challenging program of rehearsals and concerts; and enrich the arts community by sharing exquisite music for women’s voices with the public.
Ticket prices: $8 student/senior, $12 general admission
