Description NorthPoint seeks keyboard keys piano guitar player, ideally with vocals
NorthPoint http://northpointrock.com is an original Portland Oregon rock and roll band. We're seeking a rock keyboardist (keyboards, piano, organ, keyboardist, etc), ideally with some backing vocals ability**, to join us for ~once a month live shows in Portland, and round out our lineup. If you play any other instrument (guitar, harmonica, etc), we could work that in as well - we are a 3 piece now and need a 4th player (keyboards best, but another lead/rhythm guitar would work fine too). Check out the website for mp3s and lyrics from our first 2 CDs. Influences are Rolling Stones, Train, Three Doors Down, the Blasters.
** Desired not required. It is hard to find rock keyboard players in Portland. If you're reading this and wondering whether to respond, just go ahead and send a mail and lets talk. I'm sure we can help find you a gig in Portland - either with us or another band. Portland needs more rock keyboard players out there - come help the local music community, and have some fun in the process :)
