The ideal driving core of any band is a rhythm section, one that grooves and is in sync with one another.
The definitive character of a band would be the guitarist who can single handedly set the pace and style of a group's sense of musical direction
So question is do your roots go back to The Ramones, or Jerry Cantrell?
Not far enough.
I am seeking a creative atmospheric guitarist, who can swell, climax, crescendo and use dynamics, mood swings and ambience while improvising
Think Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, David Torn, Steve Howe, Steve Hackett, Buckethead, Steve Morse, or one who can express like Jeff Beck, or improvise like Jimmy Page, constantly thinking of what to do next.
We are based in Orange County and seeking a departure from an oversaturated scene of bands comprised of 2 or 3 guitarists and they all play the exact same thing.
This is not a instrumental fusion band, and are not looking for a greedy leader who lays down the law, expecting us to become your backing band.
Be open to working with a prolific vocalist and a polyrhythmic drummer |
