Description No instant money, recording CD in June, musically we blend a refreshing mixture of sounds.
Gigs pending.
Rehearse in Santa Ana 1 to 2 nights a week.
Think King Crimson meets Pink Floyd, a dab of funk and sultry spice.
Heads up for Bassists who contemplate checking us out
The drummer is multi rhythmic and does not always play straightforward rock beats but more along the lines of Bruford, Cobham, Tony Williams with a Bonham punch.
Moonstra is rock, art rock, jazz, funk, improv experimental utilizing dynamics and grooves.
We are comprised of 2 distincitvely different guitarists,
1 poet/lyricist/vocalist and polyrhythmic drummer.
We are a reflection of the world, not of LA or OC.
Have an open mind and feel free to bring in your ideas, but if you don't like what we are about don't expect us to drop what we are doing to back you up. Someone already tried that.
Be prepared to collectively collaborate and create music from the heart, not from the industry's machine.
Great music comes from within the soul of humans that which makes everlasting impact, the rest are just fucking fake trends designed to fill a lifeless void catering to the curiousity coming of age.
