Description:
Description blue number nine, an established original touring band based in Jersey City, NJ, has an opening for a back up singer. Please don’t be mislead by the label, as back up singers are an essential part of the live show. For this reason a high level of commitment is expected.
What is required:
Ability to sing, dance and coordinate moves with other singers
Ability to sing parts as recorded
Ability to learn parts on your own
Availability to rehearse as needed in Jersey City, NJ
Positive and down to earth attitude and good stage presence
Ability and willingness to travel
What you will get:
Pay on a per gig basis (betweem $50 to $150 on average)
All accommodations and transportation to shows from Jersey City, NJ
Sing lead on selected cover and own songs at suitable shows
Co-write songs with the band
Sell own merchandise at shows
Press and exposure
